Please note that I list the breaking strains originally used by Power Pro when the line was launched, and that the metric conversions stated on EU Power Pro packaging and spools do not relate accurately to the stated Imperial breaking strain - which actually appears in (very) small print, right of centre, on the spools of Power Pro sold for the European market - picture here.

To further complicate matters the UK distributors now list a more accurate conversion from kgs to lbs in their lists!

The table below shows how these all relate.

I think the metric measurement reflects the unknotted breaking strength of the line, while the US lbs reflects the knotted strength.
